How it works

  1. Pick your photos. From your camera roll, files or computer.
  2. We fix them on your phone.Your phone does the work. Nothing is uploaded.
  3. Save them back to Photos.Straight into your camera roll, or your Downloads on a computer.

Why JPG

JPG is the format everything accepts: upload forms, email, printers, old laptops and smart TVs. If a site or app refuses your picture, a JPG almost always fixes it.

What you can convert here

iPhone HEIC photos, PNG screenshots, WebP and AVIF images saved from websites, GIFs (you get the first frame), TIFF scans, Photoshop PSD files, SVG logos and camera RAW files such as DNG, CR2, NEF and ARW. Mix them in one go.

Questions

Does it work with a mix of formats?

Yes. Pick HEIC photos, screenshots and web images together and every one comes out as a JPG.

Will I lose quality?

At the default Best setting you won’t see a difference. JPG compresses photos well, so files are usually smaller than PNG or TIFF and a little larger than HEIC or WebP.

What happens to transparent areas?

JPG has no transparency, so transparent parts become white. Use PNG if you need to keep them.

Can I do this without a website?

For one file at a time, usually. On a Mac, Preview can export most images as JPEG (File, then Export). On Windows, Paint can open common formats and save as JPEG. This page handles batches and formats those apps can’t open, such as HEIC on Windows or RAW files.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your phone or computer does the converting, inside the browser. Load the page, turn on airplane mode and try it: it still works.
