How it works

  3. Save them back to Photos.Save to Files, or send it straight from the share sheet.

Photos of documents

If you photographed a form, receipt or ID to send somewhere, a PDF is often what the website or office asks for. Choose Letter or A4 so it prints at a normal size, and pick the photos in page order. Any photo works here, not only HEIC.

Questions

Can I put several photos in one PDF?

Yes, that’s what this page does. Pick as many photos as you like and you get one PDF with one photo per page, in the order you picked them. Tap Add more to add photos to the end.

Can I do this without a website?

Yes. On iPhone, open the Files app, select the photos, tap the More button and choose Create PDF. On a Mac, select the photos in Finder, then Quick Actions, then Create PDF. This page is handy when the photos are in your camera roll, when you want Letter or A4 pages that print well, or when you’re on Windows or Android.

Which page size should I pick?

Letter is the standard paper size in the US and Canada, and A4 everywhere else. Both leave a small margin and turn each page to match the photo, so it prints well. Photo size makes every page exactly the size of its photo, which is best for viewing on screen. Change it with the options button.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The photos are converted and the PDF is built in your browser, on your device. Try it in airplane mode once the page has loaded.

How do I make the PDF smaller?

Tap the options button and choose Balanced or Smaller quality. Smaller is usually fine for upload forms and email, and still easy to read when printed.

How do I send the PDF from my iPhone?

Tap Save PDF. The share sheet opens, where you can choose Save to Files, Mail, Messages or any other app.
