Compress SVG files
Smaller SVGs that stay sharp. Nothing uploaded.
Recommended looks the same and saves the most space. Most squeezes harder, at some cost to quality.
How it works
- Pick your photos.Logos and icons from your files.
- We fix them on your phone.Cleaned up on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Save them back to Photos.Into your Downloads, ready for your site.
What gets removed
Design apps fill SVGs with things browsers don’t need: editor metadata, hidden layers, comments, long numbers and repeated styles. SVGO, the standard SVG optimiser, strips them out. The file stays a vector, so it looks the same at any size.
Recommended also rounds numbers sensibly and runs several passes. Most rounds harder, which suits icons but can nudge fine curves; check detailed drawings.
Questions
Will my SVG look different?
At Less and Recommended it shouldn’t. Most rounds coordinates to one decimal place, which can shift very fine details slightly.
Does it keep animations and scripts?
Animations in the SVG are kept. Embedded scripts are kept too, but we don’t run them.
Can I do this without a website?
Yes, with SVGO itself if you’re comfortable on the command line, or the export settings in tools like Figma and Illustrator.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
