Crop GIF
Crop animated GIFs, animation kept. Nothing uploaded.
Drag the box, or its corners. With several photos, tap one in the list to crop it.
How it works
- Pick your photos. From your camera roll, files or computer.
- We fix them on your phone.Drag the box, or pick a shape. It happens on your device.
- Save them back to Photos.Into your camera roll, or your Downloads on a computer.
How to crop
Drag the box to move it and drag a corner to resize it. Pick a shape to lock it: Square for profile pictures, 4:5 for Instagram posts, 16:9 for YouTube and screens, 9:16 for Stories and Reels, 3:2 for prints. Or type an exact width and height in pixels.
With several photos, tap one in the list to crop it. Each photo keeps its own box, and choosing a shape sets every photo to it, centred.
Every frame cropped
The box you draw on the first frame is cut from every frame, and each frame keeps its timing, so the animation plays just as before.
Questions
Will my GIF still move?
Yes. Every frame is cropped and the timing is kept.
Will cropping make the GIF smaller?
Usually, yes: fewer pixels per frame means a smaller file. To shrink it further, use Compress GIF.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Cropping happens on your phone or computer, in the browser. Load the page, turn on airplane mode and try it: it still works.
